Clean and Green 2007 needs YOUR help on Saturday, April 21st, 2007!

The City of Guelph, Guelph Development Association, Downtown Board of Management, and the Guelph and District Home Builders Association are asking everyone to pitch in to clean up our city for the 4th Annual Guelph Clean and Green Community Clean-up.

Melting snow has uncovered months of litter alongside our streets and greenways. The Clean and Green Community Clean up is a wonderful way to get involved and help keep Guelph beautiful. City staff and City of Guelph Councillors will be volunteering to help make Guelph clean and green!

Here’s some of what you need to know:
· There will be 10 City crews and 10 Guelph Development Association crews – one of each at 10 pre-determined clean up sites.

· Each crew will be provided with a truck if required, and a driver “captain” and 2 “pickers.” will be assigned.

· The clean-up will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. This will allow for the crews and community volunteers to reach Old Quebec Street for 12 p.m. to enjoy a thank you lunch, hosted by the Guelph Development Association.

PLEASE consider participating in this special event, and show the world how it’s done in Guelph!
Register for a crew and you will be provided with all the details.
Email beth.brombal@guelph.ca  or call 519-837-5628 x 532 to register.
Can’t participate because you already have plans? You can still help…spread the word and encourage others to pitch in!
