Guelph’s page used to be very plain and boring. It had lost of missing information, as well as old information on population etc. So during the winter, I kept an eye on it, and worked along side other Wiki entries, to improve the content and links of Guelph and who we are as a city.

I must say, I think Guelph’s Wikipedia page is one of the better ones out there. It gives people all the information from schools, parks, shopping and media outlets. It could be an important part of marketing our city. The Wikipedia page is more then just history and information on the current state of our city, but as a tool for people to find out about our community and maybe even move here, visit here or go to school here.

Wikipedia is a never ending project, always needing to stay up to date with the world, and so does the Guelph (and Guelph links) Wikipedia page. I invite all Guelphities to check out the Wikipedia page and see if there is things that need to be updated, added or deleted about our city.

Don’t forget to see the entries about other Guelph related things like the Guelph Mercury, Guelph Transit or People from Guelph, they always need to be up to date and current as well.  So go add, delete and improve the Guelph Wikipedia Page today!
