With today’s Ontario Budget coming down, Ed Pickersgill says its time to tackle poverty with a return of a social housing program like in the mid 1990’s. Will see how the elected members play this one in this election year.
It’s playoff time in the OHL and Guelph Storm fans are scooping up tickets galore for the first round against the Plymouth Whalers. Hopefully attendance will be better the last years first round.
The Guelph United Way is looking at maybe changing its focus and rebranding itself. The United Way is an important part of the community, and I hope it focus is kept clear to serving all people, from kids to teens to adults.
